What It’s Like to Work With VUNDRR | Denver Brand & Editorial Photographer
What It’s Like to Work With VUNDRR: A Calm, Cinematic Guide to Your Brand & Editorial Photoshoot Experience in Denver (and Beyond)
Step inside the VUNDRR experience — a calm, cinematic guide to what it’s like working with a Denver brand and editorial photographer. Learn what to expect before, during, and after your photoshoot, and get ready to create visuals that feel like you.
Stepping in front of a camera shouldn't feel overwhelming.
Whether you're launching a clothing line, preparing visuals for your next album, or building your brand from scratch, the process of creating brand photography can feel uncertain. You might wonder what to bring, how to pose, or if you'll even look natural on camera.
With VUNDRR, my goal is simple: make the experience feel calm, creative, and clear.
This isn't about forced smiles or stiff poses—it's about translating your story into visuals that feel alive, visuals that feel like you. Let's walk through what it's really like to work together, from your first inquiry to the final delivery of your brand imagery.
Step 1: The Inquiry — Where Collaboration Begins
Every project starts with a conversation.
When you fill out the contact form, you're opening the door to something collaborative. I want to know what you're building, why now, and how these visuals will actually live in the world. Maybe you’re launching a clothing drop, opening your first salon, or rebranding your creative business. Whatever it is, I listen first.
You don't have to have everything figured out yet.
Most clients come to me with Pinterest boards, a handful of ideas, or just a feeling they want their audience to experience. From there, I help shape the vision, guide the scope, and build a quote that makes sense for your project.
Once your inquiry comes through, you'll get a warm auto-reply outlining next steps (and an optional pre-shoot consultation form if you want to dive deeper right away).
Every project starts with clarity, not confusion.
Step 2: Creative Discovery — Translating Vision Into Direction
TThis is where strategy meets storytelling.🍊🍊
After you book, I start building your visual roadmap. You'll get a moodboard that captures your energy and color story, notes on wardrobe and styling, and a timeline for shoot day that balances structure with creative flow.
Even if you've never modeled before, I guide you through everything—from outfit prep to natural posing that feels like you, not like a stock photo.
Clients tell me this step is where nerves turn into excitement. It's where your ideas start to take shape. You'll know exactly what to expect, where to be, and how to feel ready.
Editorial photography is about rhythm and honesty—it’s about catching the story in motion.
This phase also locks in practical details: your licensing needs, platform goals (social vs. web vs. print), and creative preferences. Because brand photography should never just look good—it should work hard for your business.
Step 3: Shoot Day — Cinematic Calm in Motion
Shoot day feels like stepping into a small creative film set.
I keep the space calm, collaborative, and comfortable—because great images come from feeling safe enough to show up as yourself.
Your favorite music is playing. Lighting shifts with the mood. Between directions, there’s laughter and breathing room.
My directing style is calm and communicative. You'll never wonder, "What do I do with my hands?" I guide every angle, pose, and movement, keeping things fluid and intuitive.
Whether it's a Denver studio session, an outdoor location, or your own creative space, my goal stays the same: to capture visuals that feel cinematic yet human.
One client recently told me,
“I walked in feeling really insecure about myself today, but your energy made me feel so beautiful and the imagery really highlights who i really am.”
That’s exactly the point.
Step 4: Delivery — From Frame to Final
After your session, the magic continues behind the scenes.
Within just 48 hours, you’ll receive your proof gallery—a curated set of images where you choose your favorites. Once selections are locked in, I move into retouching, color-grading and graphic design to create VUNDRR's signature tone: cinematic, nostalgic, and intentional.
Delivery typically happens within two weeks. Every final image includes a 1-year web and social license, which means you can use them freely across your website, organic social media, and digital platforms.
If you’re planning paid ads, print materials, or national campaigns, we’ll adjust licensing accordingly (and clearly)—no jargon, no guesswork.
You’ll also get access to your images through a sleek online gallery that’s easy to download, share, and use across your platforms.
My goal is always to deliver work that feels both timeless and strategic.
Step 5: Beyond the Shoot — Strategy in Every Image
A VUNDRR shoot doesn’t end when the gallery closes.
These images are designed to work for you—for your website, campaign rollout, press kits, or album art. When your visuals feel cohesive and intentional, they build trust and recognition over time.
Every shoot is structured with long-term use in mind. I'll help you think through how to repurpose your photos for social content, ad campaigns, newsletters, or marketing materials—so one shoot becomes a year's worth of strategic content.
This is where brand photography becomes brand storytelling.
Step 6: How to Prepare for Your Photoshoot (Bonus Clarity Section)
Preparation doesn’t have to be stressful—just intentional.
Here’s a quick checklist to help you show up confidently on shoot day.
🧺 Outfits & Props
Choose 2–3 looks that reflect your brand’s tone and comfort level.
Avoid heavy logos unless they’re your own.
Bring optional pieces (jackets, jewelry, hats) that add texture and layers.
Props that tell your story: products, sketchbooks, instruments, flowers, or your laptop—whatever fits your world.
🕰 Timeline & Logistics
Arrive 10–15 minutes early to ground yourself.
I’ll handle the setup, lighting, and flow—so all you need to focus on is presence.
Bring touch-up items: lint roller, lip balm, water, and good energy.
🧘🏽♀️ Mindset & Posing
You don’t need to know how to model. I direct each moment intentionally.
Bring music you love—we’ll set the tone together.
Remember: perfection isn’t the goal. Authenticity is.
If you want to go deeper, you can fill out my [Pre-Shoot Consultation Form]—it’s an optional creative questionnaire that helps me personalize your concept before we shoot.
Step 7: Real Results — Client Stories from the Studio
Every VUNDRR session is different, but they all share one thing in common: transformation.
2wanL0ve | Faithwear Campaign
We created a cinematic, faith-driven brand shoot for their Fall 2025 drop. The result?
98% increase in Instagram engagement
6 months of reusable marketing content
A sold-out launch that helped redefine their visual identity
Endurance Run Club | Branding Refresh
A run club in Denver that wanted community driven, grounded, yet confident imagery to highligh a new season of their brand. We shot in a studio with warm natural light, creating visuals that now lead their social feeds and newsletter. Read more about this session here!
Ason Yugen | Album Visual Session
We made the streets of Denver an intimate, moody set inspired by 2000s hip-hop photography and anime show “Jiujitsu Kaisen”—capturing both vulnerability and edge. The visuals became the artist’s cover art, streaming banners, and press photos.
These stories show that when visuals are crafted with intention, they don’t just look cinematic—they move your brand forward.
Step 8: The Value of Strategic Visuals
Many people think photography ends with the photos. But what truly sets VUNDRR apart is the strategy behind every frame.
Each shoot is structured to serve both creative expression and business growth:
For brands: cohesive marketing assets for campaigns, websites, and lookbooks.
For artists: editorial photography that builds personal identity and audience connection.
For entrepreneurs: branding photos that make digital storytelling effortless.
When you book a session, you’re not just getting pictures—you’re building a visual foundation for your brand’s next chapter.
Step 9: Let’s Create Something Cinematic 🍊
By now, you know what it feels like to step into a VUNDRR shoot. It's calm. It's collaborative. It's creative direction with heart and strategy.
You don't need to know how to pose, how to style, or what your vision should look like—that's my job. You just need to bring yourself, your story, and a little trust.
If you’re ready to create visuals that feel cinematic yet real—built to represent who you are and where you’re going—then let’s begin.
