Hey, I’m Aiyana — but my friends call me Yani. I’m a Denver-based commercial/brand and editorial photographer working Denver & beyond, and creating under VUNDRR.

Photography has been my way of staying present. It’s taught me how to sit with emotion, acknowledge what it means to be human, and find comfort in creating — almost like keeping a diary, but in images.

Through my work, I’m always chasing culture, identity, and nostalgia — the kind that feels like an out-of-touch dream. I’m drawn to cinematic texture, surreal color, and youth culture, pulling inspiration from the old cartoons I grew up on (think All That, Buggs Bunny, and that whole 90’s - early 2000’s world), along with deep-rooted art, analog media, and street-style editorial — not just for the look, but for the meaning behind it. I want people to not just look at the photo, but feel something in it… like there’s a piece of them inside the frame.

The goal of my work is to help people feel seen while still being strategic. As a marketing student, I naturally blend storytelling and marketing into every shoot — building visuals that move emotionally and communicate clearly for artists, founders, and brands. Because at the end of the day: your people are here… and you’ll always find a glimpse of yourself in my photographs.
